William Hill Sports Book of the Year: Marcus Trescothick signed copies - £18.99 Marcus Trescothick's autobiography 'Coming back to me' has won the prestigious William Hill Sports Book of the Year award.
The judges commended the way Trescothick had "...fearlessly tackled one of the great taboos of elite sport."
Trescothick writes frankly about the illness and depression which threatened his career.
Trescothick was at Lord's in the summer when his book launched and we have signed copies available now - the ideal Christmas gift for a cricket fan.
Trescothick and his co-writer, Peter Hayter, collected the £20,000 prize after becoming only the second autobiography to win the award.
Since its inauguration in 1989 there have been 20 winning titles. Trescothick's is only the fourth book about cricket to receive the prize.
The others were: 'Basil D'Oliveira' by Peter Osbourne (2004); 'A Social History of English Cricket' by Derek Birley (1999); and 'A Lot of Hard Yakka' by Simon Hughes (1997).
