Olympic dreams: Edwards and Moynihan at Lord's British Olympic Association chairman, Lord Moynihan and London 2012 board member Jonathan Edwards say that securing the 2012 Olympics for London was the pinnacle of their careers.
The Olympics in London 2012 will be coming to Lord's, as 'The Home of Cricket' will be the official venue for the archery events.
Moynihan and Edwards were at Lord's for the launch of Sports Heritage Network's 'Our Sporting Life' campaign and spoke to Lords.org.
Sports Heritage Network aim to involve more people in the UK's sporting heritage and the 'Our Sporting Life' campaign is the first to receive the LOCOG (London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games) 'Inspire' mark - marking the 'cultural Olympiad' in the build-up to 2012.
Asked about his greatest career achievements Edwards said: "The thing I've won myself that I'm most proud of is the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award. I've got a replica of this iconic British award in my living room - which is kind of cool.
Speaking about the lead-up to the announcement of the 2012 Olympic host city Edwards said: "The night before I was having dinner with the likes of Seb Coe and Daley Thompson. We all said we'd trade all our sporting achievements for the right result - for [International Olympic Committee President] Jacques Rogge to say London instead of Paris.
"It was the greatest achievement of my professional life."

The Ashes: Brits are used to battling Australians on the sporting field The man in charge of Britain's Olympic team, Lord Moynihan added: "Bringing the Games back to London is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
"I'm looking forward to a great performance by Team GB. It's my job to deliver that.
"We've got some great athletes. Beijing was a great step forwards to finish fourth in the medals table - we've got a lot of work to maintain that.
"If we can, on home turf, beat the Australians again and see off the French, Japanese and Germans we'll have done very well."
