Next year will be a bumper year of cricket at Lord's. 'The Home of Cricket' will host the ICC World Twenty20 Opening Ceremony and Final as well as group matches - plus the small matter of the Ashes Series.
The fixture list for the 2009 ICC World Twenty20 was announced on Tuesday 24 June.
With it came confirmation that the Opening Ceremony will take place at Lord's - on Friday 5 June.
Hosts England will play the opening match of the tournament against the Associate Member qualifier in their Group B.
Associate Members, currently playing their qualifying matches, include: Bermuda, Canada, Ireland, Kenya, Netherlands and Scotland - amongst others.
