Media & Photographer Accreditation at Lord's

If you require a pass to cover major matches at Lord’s, including the nPower Test matches, NatWest One Day Internationals, and ECB 40 over Final please contact Che Mangan at ECB on 020 7432 1200. MCC will not be issuing passes for major matches at Lord’s in 2010.

Accreditation for non-major matches at Lord's, including Middlesex games, is now open.

The closing date for applications for non-major matches, including Middlesex games is ten working days before the first day of the match. If you are making a late application for any match, please call Clare Skinner (MCC's Media Manager) on 020 7616 8522.

Application procedure.

• All applications for MCC accreditation for Lord’s must be made via the Media/Photographer Accreditation Application Form 2010 on the right. Please email this form to Media at MCC by email (and not to Clare Skinner direct as this may delay your application)

• Holders of a 2008 or 2009 pass with a photo do not need to enclose a new photograph. Each new application should include a jpeg photograph in passport style. Please ensure all photo files are saved as the applicant’s name. If you do not have a photo in jpeg format please post a passport photo to Clare Skinner, MCC, Lord’s Cricket Ground, St John’s Wood, London NW8 8QN including a covering note and write your name on the back of the photo.

• For freelancers, MCC may request in support of your application a letter of assignment on the official letterhead of the media organisation for which you will be working. In addition, you may be asked to submit one of the following: two recently published articles (print media); recordings of two recent reports (radio and TV media); a letter from a broadcast organisation which intends to air your work (independent TV production companies); original tear sheets and photos with credits of the issuing organisation (photographers); three recently published articles with your byline (online media). Please be prepared to provide the required materials to MCC's Media Manager in advance of your pass being issued.

• Similarly, once accreditation has been issued, accredited media may be asked to substantiate their coverage of international/county cricket by providing evidence of their published work.

• MCC reserves the right to decline applications for accreditation.

Types of pass

The following passes are issued by MCC and can be applied for by completing the on-line Media / Photographer Accreditation Application Form 2010:

• Non-Major Matches Season Pass: Valid for all Middlesex CCC, MCC and other non-major matches in 2010. This pass is not valid for any major international cricket at Lord’s but does give entry to ECB press conferences and practice sessions open to the media ahead of major international matches.

• One-Off County or other Non-Major Match Pass: A one-off match pass issued on a match-by-match basis to those who require access to a Middlesex match, MCC match or other non-major match at Lord’s. You will be asked to supply the date(s).

• Press Conference Pass: Issued to those members of the media and photographers who do not attend the match itself, but would like access to the pre-major match practice days, post-match press conferences and ECB press conferences at Lord’s throughout 2010. Access to the post-match press conference, held in the MCC Museum, is no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the close of play.

Passes are issued subject to MCC's Terms & Conditions and General Ground Regulations. Please note that full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions is a pre-condition of pass use.

At all times whilst in the ground, pass-holders must wear such identifying pass and/or armband/tabard as may be provided by the MCC or ECB. Such must be visible at all times; and pass-holders must not tamper with any such items or do anything to obscure any part of them.

Accreditation and passes are not transferable and will not be replaced.

A restricted visitors policy will apply in the Media Centre on matchdays in 2009. Visitor passes are issued in limited numbers, to be used before the start of play for visits of no longer than 20 minutes. Once play commences, all visitors are kindly asked to vacate the Media Centre.

The Media Centre is a smoke-free building.
