MCC Spirit of Cricket - Chance to shine a classroom resource

These film clips have been developed to illustrate the various aspects of the Spirit of Cricket.

It is intended that the films are viewed individually with a teacher / coach classroom discussion following each clip. Discussion documents have been provided to assist you bringing the Spirit of Cricket to life. This are intended to give ideas and act as a guide.

Please go through the films at the appropriate pace for the group. There is sufficient information and follow up work for this to done over a number of weeks if required.

It is helpful if the teacher is able to make links with other areas of the curriculum and school life which demonstrate the universal values behind the Spirit of Cricket.

Please reinforce the classroom message during all cricketing activity by highlighting good practice and examples as they occur. MCC and Chance to shine are keen that the Spirit of Cricket becomes embedded within the sporting behaviour of this generation.
