Tours 2009: summary
MCC v Argentina in Buenos Aires in 2008 As part of its active playing programme, which involves its teams playing around 500 matches a year, MCC undertakes numerous overseas tours.
In planning these trips, MCC works closely with the International Cricket Council. This helps to maximise the tours' effectiveness in increasing cricket's international appeal and assisting national teams' move towards one-day international or even Test status.
Touring programme, 2009
In 2009, the first season under the new MCC tour policy, The Club will undertake four tours to:

Since autumn 2006, each overseas tour undertaken by the Club has been 'climate neutral', as a result of a pioneering carbon-offsetting partnership between MCC and Climate Care.
